Education and training
People come to King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from all over the world to benefit from its educational expertise. One of the UK’s largest and busiest teaching Trusts, it trains more than 900 dentists, 750 doctors and 300 nurses every year.
The Trust is part of King’s Health Partners, a major provider of healthcare training and education in the UK, and offers clinical education and training placements Trust wide. It also has strong academic links with King’s College London School of Medical Education and Dental Institute, and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience.
King’s Commercial, through its Education and Training service, provides excellent opportunities for clinicians to get hands-on experience of and exposure to some of the leading services in Europe, including liver disease and transplantation, neurosciences, cardiac, haemato-oncology, fetal medicine, stroke and major trauma.
We also offer our skills overseas and can create tailored clinical education programmes that enable care organisations to train their staff to the same high standards as required in the UK.
